Terms & Conditions

All quotations are based on work being performed during regular working hours and conditions prevailing at date of quotation and are subject to amendment or withdrawal at any time prior to the receipt and acknowledgment by AW Sign & Design (hereinafter referred to as the 'Seller') of any acceptance thereof.

As agreed at the time of order.

Payment Terms.
25% Deposit upon order (Minimum £20 – Non refundable). Remaining balance must be paid before delivery or collection. Please allow 5 working days for cheques to clear. The goods will be delivered after funds are received. Any returned cheque's will be charged £30.00 at a time.

Orders received and accepted by the Seller cannot be cancelled except by communication with the Director within 24 hours of order date. Any cancellations after this time will be subject to the loss of your deposit of 25%. The customer guarantees the legal property of all matter submitted to the Seller for production and/or publication arising from production and/or publication of such matter including legal expenses and disbursements incurred by the Seller in contesting the same.

Quantity Delivered.
1. Delivery dates will be agreed upon with the Buyer at the time you place your order. We strive to ensure all orders and timetables are fulfilled within 1–3 working days however since there may be delays due to reasons beyond our control, we cannot accept liability for delays in delivery.
2. We will notify you once the goods you have ordered are ready for collection from our distribution centre. Unless you have given us delivery instructions, we will make arrangements for the delivery of your goods to you through an independent courier. We cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to the goods occurring after the goods leave our premises. Any claims that arise will be against the courier.
3. Defects in any item will not entitle you to reject the remaining items ordered by you.
4. The prices quoted in the order do not include delivery charge. We reserve the right to increase our prices pro rata to any increase in the paper manufacturer's / suppliers list price occurring after the date of your order.
5. After the goods leave our premises we are not liable for any discolouration or corrosion from poor storage of the goods.
6. The Seller is not liable for any injuries which may occur by any means from the goods, after the goods leave our premises.

The Seller cannot accept responsibility for copyright disputes. Any design or logo used or reproduced is done so in good faith and shall be the full responsibility of the Buyer. All finalised artwork and designs produced by the Seller are the copyright of AW Sign & Design unless a mutual agreement is reached with the Buyer as regards to ownership of the copyright.

Written notice on any claim in respect to quality of the goods must be made within 3 days of the date on invoice. In such circumstances the goods must be put aside for inspection by the Seller. The Seller is not liable for any loss of profit or consequential loss whatsoever which the Buyer may incur arising from such defects.

The goods remain the property of AW Sign & Design until payment is made in full. If such payment is overdue or not made, the seller may recover the goods and will enter the Buyer's premises to do so. Recovery of outstanding debts may involve Bailiffs and/or a Court Proceedings.
